Welcome. I am enamored with Plein air painting. That's why I am out in the field painting throughout the year. When I'm not outside, I am in the studio painting depicting the birds, scenes and animals that I encounter in the natural world.

For me as a Plein Air painter, summer poses its challenges - so many varying greens, long days and biting bugs! Fall is the joys of color and crisp air. Winter brings its brisk weather and the more subtle beauty of its colors.  And then comes Spring! This means fewer layers of warm clothing, changing colors and only a few biting insects!

In each day and in each season, there is always something to learn and that brings me great joy.  I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy the entire process of creating it!
